Terms of Service

← zantiflow
The short version: zantiflow is a free hobby project, provided as-is, it takes no payment, it keeps as little as it can — and what your terminal sends is your call to make. The Privacy Policy covers the data side.

1. Who runs zantiflow

zantiflow (the “Service”) is operated by Ioan Biticu at zantiflow.com. It is a personal, community-funded project offered free of charge, and its source is public under the Apache License 2.0. You can reach me at ioanb7code@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By signing in or connecting a machine you agree to these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the hosted Service — the code is open, and you can run your own.

3. What the Service is

A Zellij plugin pushes a metadata snapshot of your terminal sessions to this service, which shows them on a live dashboard and notifies you — by browser push, Discord or Telegram — when something needs your attention, such as an AI agent waiting on input.

It is a hobby project maintained in spare time. Features, thresholds and tier limits may change, and the Service may be interrupted or discontinued at any time.

4. You are responsible for what you stream

This is the important one. By connecting a machine you confirm that:

  • you control that machine, or are authorised to stream it;
  • you have configured redaction to your satisfaction — you decide what session, tab and pane names are transmitted, and the defaults do not know what your window titles contain;
  • you are not streaming terminals that expose other people’s personal data, your employer’s confidential information, or credentials you are not entitled to disclose;
  • if you enable the optional pane-output peek, you accept that the captured lines are sent to the Service to be relayed to your own browser, secret-scrubbing notwithstanding.

If you are using zantiflow at work, that is between you and your employer’s policies. The Service cannot tell whether a pane title is a secret; only you can.

5. Free, and not for sale

There is no subscription, no checkout, and no payment data — the Service takes no money and stores no card details. PRO features are granted by promo code and may expire or be withdrawn; donations are support for the project and buy no entitlement, priority, or guarantee. Nothing here is a purchase, so nothing here is refundable.

6. Not a system of record

Retention is deliberately minimal: the latest snapshot per session, current attentions, and notifications pruned within hours. Data may also be lost during restarts, upgrades, or maintenance. Do not rely on zantiflow as a record of what you did or when — it is a live view, not a log.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to access another account’s machines, snapshots, notifications, or tokens;
  • work around rate limits, flood the ingest endpoint, or use the Service in a way that degrades it for others;
  • probe or attack the Service’s security, other than through responsible disclosure;
  • use the Service to monitor someone without their knowledge, or for anything unlawful.

Abusive traffic is rate-limited or blocked automatically, and accounts may be suspended.

8. Self-hosting

These Terms cover the hosted instance only. If you deploy zantiflow yourself — server, bots, or both — you operate that deployment: you are responsible for it and for the data it handles, and I provide no warranty or support for it. Your use of the code is governed by the Apache-2.0 licence in the repository, not by this page.

9. Third-party services and names

Sign-in, push delivery, and the chat integrations depend on Google, your browser vendor, Discord and Telegram, each governed by its own terms; I am not responsible for them or for changes they make. Zellij, Claude, Anthropic, Google, Discord and Telegram are the trademarks of their respective owners, and zantiflow is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

10. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. There is no uptime commitment and no service level. In particular, notifications are best effort: a push may be delayed, deduplicated, or never delivered, and you should not rely on zantiflow for anything time-critical or safety-related.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service — including missed or late notifications, lost snapshots, or anything you chose to transmit through it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time: revoke your tokens, delete your machines, and email me to delete the account. I may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms, endangers the Service, or harms other users.

13. Changes, law, contact

These Terms may change; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting mandatory consumer or data-protection rights where you live. Questions: ioanb7code@gmail.com.
